So, we don't want to make it too easy for the government to spy on us. Let's have an investigation. Or maybe not.
Now maybe someone can explain to me how the Department of Justice investigates an NSA program monitored by the Department of Justice but can't get security clearance from the NSA for the investigation. (Not only do we have the fox guarding the henhouse but the guy who let the fox in needs the fox's permission to check on the hens.) The Yahoo headline reads "Security Issue Kills Domestic Spying Probe." Security issues, you know. Which is crap, because there's nothing that threatens my security more than the slow, but sure, dismantling of the Constitution.
