Brainiac

Scientists and doctors have discovered what women have known for centuries: females cure severe head injuries. Well, maybe not females, but one of the hormones that makes a woman female, progesterone, has been found to be effective in treating massive head trauma. My favorite tidbit of info in the article, however, is this:
"Widely known as a female 'sex steroid,' progesterone is also a neurosteroid that's critical for the normal development of neurons in the brain."

Just remember that, boys; we have the steroid that is critical to normal brain development. Explains a lot, doesn't it?
