Having said that, I have to add that the best night out I ever had was at the local gay bar after a gay pride march and there were some characters there too.

Pride
Why is it that the people who show up at Gay Pride parades are the ones who reinforce the stereotypes? Of the decidedly few (maybe 10) gay people I know, none dresses in drag or wears bondage gear (in public --but then you don't know what I wear in private either).
