"Scottish sex scandal court case nears climax"
Headline writer with a sick sense of humor. I don't know how long this headline will remain as it is or how long the story will stay in the ether. In the old days of newsprint, mistakes were darn-near forever. Now the twisted semi-alliterative headline quoted above may not even be around tomorrow. I suppose if I were the one screwing up, I'd appreciate that, but it sure cuts down on the stuff you can hold over someone else's head....

A headline about a candidate dropping out of a local race, "Weiner Pulls Out," is a favorite--that didn't last long before getting changed. It was altered to "Weiner Withdraws from Race," which doesn't strike me as much better.
