Winning the War on Terror
You'd think that, following the arrests of 21 alleged (you legally have to say that "alleged" thing) terrorists in England, Terror would be willing to throw in the towel. Not so. Terror is a tenacious foe. Mostly because it is NOT POSSIBLE to fight a nebulous idea. You must actually fight a person or group of people. Now I know that War on AlQaeda is not nearly as titilating as War on Terror. And the cool news graphics and 'whum' audio to go with wouldn't be nearly as impressive, but it's been almost five years now and I don't see a white flag anywhere from Terror. Or a statement to the effect of, "We just can't beat these people any more. We're tired and we've missed three seasons of Nip/Tuck. We're done."
