Less serious? Some one tell that to the sloth.
If I read the link properly, the animal didn't move for three years. Years! I think the appealing thing about this animal is the way it makes our human apathy so trite: yeah, sure we haven't learned a thing about the willful destruction of the planet on which we live in the past 10 years, but at least we move around once in a while.
