Norwegians are looking into the possibility of using the cattle of Scandanavia, reindeer, or rather reindeer hair, to mop up oil spills.

Norwegian research agency Sintef... suggests that hair from reindeer has the right qualities to collect oil... .

So not only can they fly sleighs, they can absorb oil as well. (And they're tasty with a port wine reduction.)
