I'm reading a new (to me) book by a favorite author, Sharyn McCrumb. I'm 20 pages in and already she's got a couple of characters who've grabbed me. One of them tells the reader that he's "good at seeming."
How better to describe the ability to make others believe you are what they want you to be?
