Drop in crime

Here's hoping that there is a drastic drop in crime in my county right now. I have been called to jury duty at the court of common pleas and can only hope that beginning April 16, there will be few common pleas to hear.

And can anyone explain why the actual summons is printed in Olde English typeface?
