All over the world people are exercising their right to free speech and assembly. Whether they've been formally guaranteed that right or not. Situations like Myanmar, Pakistan and Georgia ought to make us appreciate our Constitution even more.
Instead, we sit at home when we should be voting. We don't speak out when we hear our government is torturing and eradicating our personal liberties. We shrug when we hear of dissidents in far-off lands which we cannot find on a map.
