A camembert of a book

This weekend I read Edward Trencom's Nose by Giles Milton. Milton is best known for historical non-fiction, and this is his first foray into the land of make-believe.
He spins a tale of cheese and intrigue, of history and noses, of dynasties and disasters. And my mouth was watering for a taste of stilton or maribo or autun or... .
