This week I returned a respectable seven books, all of which I'd read. I'm recommending Stephanie Barron's
A Flaw in the Blood. She is most well-known for her "Jane Austen Mysteries" in which she re-imagines Miss Austen as an amateur sleuth, but in a departure from that, she's written a suspenseful intrigue in Queen Victoria's court. Fast-paced and well thought-out, it was a book that makes you say "hmmmmn".
