Power outage
Sorry about missing my early-morning posting today. We had no electricity here Sunday evening until Tuesday morning. So in honor of the efforts made by the linemen (and women) to fix me up, we'll give a tip of the hat to Nikola Tesla without whom we wouldn't have all things that plug in. Including this blog. (Heaven forbid!)

Have you read "The Prestige" by Christopher Priest? Tesla's a character. (David Bowie played him in the movie--which isn't bad, but the book is better.)
Glad you survived IKE.
We were in St. Charles MO.. trying to run a marathon when that same storm came by.
