I'm going to recommend a book that I haven't finished reading as yet. I know this is a departure, and it may seem a bit odd to recommend something that I don't have the full picture on. Allow me to explain.
Matt Taibi's The Great Derangement is so infuriating that I have had to keep putting it down because I get too pissed off to keep reading. It is funny and insightful, but, well, let's just say that the insights are such that I want to take a weed wacker to all of Washington. None of the candidates running for office right now can fix it. And that is the source of my frustration and anger.
Everyone should read this book just to know how our government really works. Or doesn't work, as the case may be.
