I'm finding that, as I age, I'm less inclined toward scruffy rock stars (not that I'd ever really had a huge propensity toward many of them) and more enthralled with brainiac wonks. My latest crush is Newsweek White House Correspondant Richard Wolffe.
The ears are disconcertingly yummy. And that smug smile....
I now watch Olbermann (who also tweaked my radar a bit) just to see if his vaguely intoxicating accent will be discussing the latest Obamania.
And he's a foodie.
As long as I stop short of postering my walls, I'm sure it's quite harmless.

It's the accent.
Quite.
Ironically, I have recently been involved very closely with two popular television programmes starring two very popular gentlemen.
The subjects in question are "Kiefer Sutherland" and "Hugh Laurie."
I have been in their company, in public, many times and I can tell you that the former cannot hold a candle to the latter when it comes to women (young and old) trying to get their hands on his underwear.
Being a somewhat "sticky-out-eared-big-nosed-and-lanky" chap myself, I find this new climate to be refreshing. More power to you.
