This is what I saw out my window today.
The one that visits our yard is a bit older and doesn't perch on birdfeeders, but rather hides in evergreens and perches on telephone poles (which is where I caught him today). Cooper's Hawks find plenty to eat in our neighborhood, so I imagine I'll see him or his friends again. Possibly devouring a sparrow...
Marlin Perkins, eat your heart out.

I am deeply envious, I've only once seen a bird of prey in the wild (much less my yard) other than flying high above me.
"He" appears to actually be a "she" - I filmed a documentary series for National Geographic many years ago regarding "Wild Animals in Urban Environments" and the beautiful birds were among the subjects studied.
She is wonderful. I am anxious for more images of her and to know if you have given her a name yet.
As a female, she will probably hunt larger birds than sparrows (more likely fodder for the smaller male Coops) - and you will find her "devouring" a Jay or Flicker.
