What you call your food is important.
"Cool names can make for cool foods," says lead author Brian Wansink of Cornell University. "Whether it be 'power peas' or 'dinosaur broccoli trees,' giving a food a fun name makes kids think it will be more fun to eat."
My Long-Suffering Husband has suggested "little balls of dirt" as an alternative name for Brussels sprouts. Which explains why no one likes them --except me.

I say it's spinach, and I say the hell with it!
I used to hate them, then I discovered roasting. Now I love them. (Same goes for cauliflower.)
