Is it wrong to laugh at art?

On a recent trip through the (absolutely wonderful) Cleveland Museum of Art, I noticed a painting that made me laugh out loud.
This, I am sure, was not the long-dead artist's intent. But the people were so charming, yet ridiculous, that I couldn't help myself.
