Low-maintenance

Cherry Canterbury bells, black-eyed susans, coneflower, hydrangea, globe thistle, coreopsis, butterfly bush, butterfly weed, garden phlox, crocosmia.
All of the above are blooming or near-to-blooming in my front garden right now. The chaos of color is unearned and all the more appreciated because of that. One of my favorite things about my garden is that once I rake it and mulch it in the spring, I do absolutely nothing else except the occasional pulling of an unruly weed.

I love it! Believe it or not, my delphiniums are just now blooming and garden phlox are way behind. Despite an early Spring we have had very cool temps in June and July, delaying all blossoms.
