Friday Book Blogging

It's been a while since I've been really up on my "pick of the week." For the past few months I've felt more like I'm choosing the lesser of two mediocrities. This week I read Chris Grabenstein's Tilt A Whirl and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The narrator is pitch-perfect. The lead character is expertly sketched. The story is well-plotted, interesting, and filled with twists and quirks. All-in-all, a great first in a series of buddy-cop mysteries that I have already added to my list.
And this book has the added benefit of possibly appealing to my male readership. (both of you!)
