I'd like to use today's post to thank Washington D.C. for celebrating Emancipation Day, thereby providing me with two extra days to get my @#$%*^ local taxes done. And thank you to the local tax agency for honoring the April 17 due date set by the IRS.
By the way, Regional Income Tax Authority, this is the only time you will ever get a thank you from me.
