Here's another story that will date me (and those of you who get it). There are a bunch of people, based on a completely unscientific poll of my colleagues, who have no idea what or where or who "happiness is a warm puppy" belongs to. In fact most have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF IT.
Try this with anyone under the age of 35: "If I say 'Happiness is...' what do you think of?" No one under the age of 30 will say "a warm puppy."
But really, if you think about it, Happiness is a Warm Puppy is just an Internet meme, pre-Internet.

Though I had that book, the musical "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" would prompt me to first reply, "... two kinds of ice cream."
