Rainy days and Sundays

What is it about cold wet days that makes me break out the mixing bowls and crank up the oven? Yesterday it rained off-and-on all day and the high temperature was in the low-to-mid forties (6C). I baked a batch of ginger biscuits, a loaf of banana bread, and roasted a chicken. That's more activity than my oven has seen in months.
