1st World Problems

Despite the fact that I live over 500 miles from Atlantic City, NJ, where Sandy the megastorm, or frankenstorm, or whatever came ashore, I have been without power from Monday night at 9 until about half an hour ago, nearly two full days. I am hugely thankful that our home was not significantly damaged in the high winds and rain that came through here. And the destruction and suffering here is miniscule compared to the New Jersey coast. But -and I'm gonna whine here- when it seems like everyone except me has power, it makes getting up in a cold dark house and dressing by candlelight not so much of an adventure.
