I, honest-to-god, read four books this week, returned them all to the library, and can't remember a single one of them. Okay. That last part isn't true. I remember two of them, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable recommending either one.
Both were formulaic, brain-numbing fluff, which is much-preferred when spending hours battling the flu. (You know how, when you really feel crappy and you're all doped up on NyQuil, the best thing to do --besides for sleeping-- is to sit in front of the TV and watch reruns of Seinfeld or Friends or Bewitched.)
These books are the paper version of that. For girls. So, when you get sick this fall (or winter), try the ridiculous Fearless in High Heels by Gemma Halliday.
