Friday Book Blogging

I've been on a bit of a Scottish kick lately. Blame it on Mumford and Sons. (or not)
So two of the three books I read this week featured Scotland. A.D. Scott's A Double Death on the Black Isle takes the top spot.
Scott does an amazing job drawing her characters. Even the second tier is fully formed. The plot is not too complex but intricate enough. The dialect is awkward to read, but by halfway through the brogue is passable.
