Some things I've noted recently.

1. Cuttlefish are indescribably cool.
2. We fought a war for over 8 years in order to be free of a monarchy, only to spend the past 24 hours in thrall of its newborn prince.
3. It doesn't matter how many times Trayvon Martin may or may not have smoked pot. He did not deserve to die. Stop making him a villain. If pot smoking were a deadly offense, almost no one should have graduated from my white upper-middle class high school.
4. Yesterday was Pi Day everywhere in the world except the United States because we stubbornly refuse to reformat our dates to day-month-year as logic might dictate.
5. Arthur Treacher was a real person, not just a name on a crappy fish and chips fast food restaurant. And it's the anniversary of his birth today.
6. River deltas are incredibly beautiful from space.
