Now back to your regularly-scheduled blog post:
Really. I can't for the life of me figure out why someone thought to soak corn in lye, then grind the dried kernels to make a meal which is then boiled into a porridge we call grits. And why, when there are a multitude of other options for your dinner and/or breakfast plate in this day and age, why do some people still insist on eating grits? Why is it becoming trendy? Why does my Long-Suffering Husband like them?
All things to ponder as I try to digest the ones I made for dinner last night.
