I just realized that I may be able to go the whole holiday without putting up a tree or untangling the mantle decor and the thought has me a bit giddy. Aside from that I read three books this week and will recommend Victoria Thompson's newest Sarah Brandt mystery, Murder in Chelsea. For those of you who follow the series, Thompson ties up a few strings in this one and relatively neatly as well. The solution seemed obvious to me, but it was nonetheless well plotted, just not suspenseful.
Anyone just starting out with the series, begin with Murder on Astor Place so you can get to know everyone before all the twists.
