Wooden horse

Tonight at midnight we begin the Chinese year of the wood horse. It doesn't seem promising on paper.
"It will be a fast year full of conflicts according to some astrologers, who see wood as providing fuel for the energetic horse sign." This is great news if you're a dog, I guess.
I'm not sure how it all works, but I can't help but notice that children have been celebrating the year of the wooden horse for millennia.
