They are shifting trick-or-treat in my little community to Thursday night so it doesn't interfere with Friday night high school football. (Or should that be capitalized since it is such a HUGE thing here in the Midwest?) I assume that the majority of my trick-or-treaters tomorrow night are NOT going to be football players (or marching band members) so I imagine the shift is some misguided attempt to be sure the maximum number of households will be available to distribute candy as opposed to cheering on our football team to victory.
Whatever. I have the candy -about 500 pieces- so bring on the goblins, fairies, spidermen and princesses.
And maybe it won't rain. Or snow.
