A new study on the size of bat testicles has been released. (Yes, scientists really do study these things. Can't you picture the guy in a white lab coat with tiny calipers?)
The study found that some bats in competition to mate with the slutty female bats had balls that were up to 8% of their body mass. In a 200-pound man that would be 16 pounds of testicles. Keep in mind though that the "research suggested that in those bat species with promiscuous females, the male's body used more of its energy to enhance the testes — giving it the greater adaptive advantage — and lacked the energy it needed to further develop the brain."
So, by application of this to the human population, if we women cheat on our men, their brains shrink. Pros? Cons?

The graphic isn't showing up ... but given the topic, perhaps that's just as well.
I suspect that when a woman cheats on her man, the organ that shrinks isn't his brain.
What shrinks on a woman whose man cheats on her, I wonder?
her ego.
I didn't realize we were being obvious. {{smile}}
I found your site a couple of weeks ago and have dropped by a few times since. You have an intriguing persona and an amusing perspective.
I commented more to say hello than to debate bats and balls. It's a topic that just begs to be lampooned though, isn't it?
Well, then, hello to you PB and welcome.
I peeked at your blog as well. I'll post over there for you.
I appreciate the visit.
Ironically, I'm about to dismantle my computer station so I can refinish the office floors. I hope we can continue our acquaintance when I get back online in a week or two.
