So here's my contribution to the Lisa the whack-o astronaut story.
I read this illuminating story about how all her family and friends are "shocked" because she was such a nice quiet girl. Blah blah, you know the routine.
My favorite quote is from the old neighbor who said, "She's everything you'd want in a daughter, a friend -- she's pretty, she's bright, she's popular." (Notice she never used the word 'sane.')
My standards for daughter and/or friend are apparently a little more stringent than neighbor-lady's.
