Civics 101

"Most of the candidates said they backed repealing the Supreme Court decision making abortion legal."
Correct me if I'm wrong here --it's been a while since high school government class-- but doesn't the JUDICIAL branch of the government make the decisions on what is repealed? Or maybe the LEGISLATIVE branch can pass a law. But the EXECUXTIVE branch, for which these yahoos are running, does not repeal anything.

If I remember correctly, decisions don't get repealed, they get overturned. Laws get repealed, but there's no legislation that applies in this case. You can pass a law that makes the decision inoperative. Or you can just arrest all the doctors who perform abortions and put them in Guantanamo.
