I don’t know how it is in your neck of the woods, but here we’ve been on a weather teeter-totter. (Or see-saw, whatever you call it.)
May, June and July here were drought-dry. We had a total of under 5 inches of rain in all three months. That’s the total for ALL three months added together. My oak trees were losing leaves. I actually raked the yard twice in July.
Then it rained. And rained. In fact, Sunday and Monday alone, we got over 8 inches of rain. Eight inches! In just two days. Now, it’s faux-spring and the trees are just as confused as the weather has been. I’ve seen two magnolia trees blooming.
