Creamy

Today, according to wikipedia, is a National Holiday. That's right, in addition to Pakistani independence and Paraguayan flag day, it is National Creamsicle Day.

I love a good creamsicle (I'm a traditionalist, and always go for the orange, although the raspberry is very good too.), but I can find no actual evidence that this is a real thing. If you Google "national creamsicle day" you'll get some hits, but they seem to all lead back to that wikipedia entry.

How odd.

In fact, even Popsicle, the makers of Creamsicles, show no indication of acknowleding this auspicious day.

However, despite the fact that this was quite obviously manufactured by a small troop of wikipediers (is that a word?) after sharing a really good bong, I encourage you all to embrace it. It is, after all, hot out and a creamsicle is a darn good way to cool off in the middle of August.

Do you have an ice cream maker? I have a good recipe for a creamsicle-like ice cream, if you're interested.

Do I really strike you as the kind of gal who would own an ice cream maker?

I'll take that as a "no."
