Christmas gift

Tonight we bid the Punkinhead au revoir for her trip to play with her high school marching band at the CHAMPS Bowl (formerly known as the Citrus Bowl, pre-sponsorship) in Orlando. It's not the ideal way to end Christmas Day, but on the plus side, we have the house to ourselves for a whole six days.

Time to live your own romance novel. Make sure Punkinhead gets lots of pictures for us.

Live my own romance novel. That's a polite way of saying "get laid," right?

Like she'd take pictures. Please. If she did, they'd all be of other teenage girls. And don't even suggest you are that depraved.

ah, I think I was that teenage girl once upon a time, taking pictures of all her friends. Think of it this way, any body can take a picture of the scenery and the sights of Orlando (those pictures are readily available to any one with an internet connection) but only she will take pictures of that particular set of girls. And while the sights and scenery will probably remain fairly unchanged for the next few decades, the girls will not ever be the way they are today again.

lol - no, I meant the scenery and photos of the general trip... you need to remember that I have three daughters. If nothing else, this should deter any thoughts of my being a "casting couch pervert."

Oh, and yes... I was referring to you shagging your hubbies brains out with time free, alone in the house. I remember from my married days that "we have the house to ourselves" meant we could finally work on remembering why we got married.

For the sparkling conversation, no?
Why else would someone marry?
