Baby, it's cold outside

We got about 8 inches of snow yesterday. And it is the 118th anniversary of the crowning of Queen Liliuokalani. So we are going to visit Hawaii today.

With average low temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s year-round, it beats the heck out of January in Cleveland. Hawaii's tallest mountain, Mauna Kea, if measured from the floor of the Pacific Ocean, is taller than Mount Everest, rising about 33,500 ft. Hawaii is also the home of Mauna Loa, the world's largest shield volcano. And it is the only U.S. State that grows coffee or has a royal palace.
