Six books in contention this week, the winner being Amanda Cross's A Trap for Fools. This is the first Kate Fansler mystery I've read and I've added the author to my "look for" list. English professor Fansler is all that was good about the excess of the eighties. Her excesses are in attitude and intelligence (with a bit of cocktails and filet mignon tossed in).
