I stumbled across this story today: "The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has requested Israel's permission to post pro-vegetarian signs [with slogans like 'Give Peas a Chance'] on both sides of its barriers with the West Bank and the Gaza Strip."
I think this is a great idea. It will give the Palestinians and the Israelis a common enemy: radical vegetarians.
