I have recently begun a love affair with soup. I spent the months of February and March experimenting with new (mostly delicious) homemade soups. From curried carrot soup to Irish cabbage soup to old-fashioned minestrone. My favorite so-far has been the smoked turkey chowder.
Who knew that for someone who sees cooking as more of a chore than a pleasure that soups would be so much fun? Now I just need help with all the leftovers....
