Friday Book Blogging
This week's haul was eight books. I'm choosing as top pick Marion Chesney's My Dear Duchess. As a typical Regency romance, the main characters fall in love but are the last to know it. The primary reason for my pick is that it so accurately and pleasantly mimicked the classic Georgette Heyer. Before romance novels became pseudo-erotica, Heyer imbued them with humor and character. Chesney ably follows in her footsteps. (Not that there's anything wrong with the ones that have sex in them... .)

Did you hate your husband when you first met him?
Oh no, that took years.
