I read only a pathetic three books this week. (And not even thick or difficult reading!)
The best read was Catherine Price's 101 Worst Places Not to See Before You Die.
Some of items on the list were gross, some were impossible, many were humorous, most were fascinating in a repellent way.
The book was thoroughly entertaining and, while you may not tap into your new-found knowledge of African driver ants at the next social gathering you attend, it's still fun to have that tidbit tucked into your gray matter should you ever travel to Tanzania.
