Anyone can run for office in a democracy*

I have been trying really hard to stay away from politics during this run up to November 2nd. I'm avidly consuming tons of stuff online, but I've been spare in the postings.
For one reason, it gives the illusion that when I do spout off political opinions, they are much more significant and well-thought-out. Another reason, the average media junkie is a little sick of it by this time.
That said, I'm breaking ranks to ask, "What the f*ck is wrong with these politicians?!" The Dems need to grow some balls and the GOP needs to grow some brains.

And until either or both of those things occurs, we, the American people, are screwed.







*the problem being, that often, just about anyone does.
