Picture this

So, on MyYahoo homepage, one of the feeds that I get is "most emailed photos." Generally lots of baby animals, occasionally some nice nature snaps, weird outfits at a runway show, etc. Baby animals usually dominate. Today, though, was a real "what the...?" moment. Of the top five photos here in the screen cap, three are from the Samba Parade at Rio's Carnival. (Yes, that first one is a nearly-naked butt.) But right there in the middle is a cat and a lizard. I guess I can see the popularity of the Samba dancers; I mean they're built like brick sh*thouses and wearing nothing but feathers and sequins, but how the hell did the creepy inter species love snap get in there? Okay, it's cute. But the incongruity of it is kinda jarring.
And you have to go all the way to photo six to find a baby animal.
What does this say about us that these are the photos that when we saw them we thought, "I've got to send that to... ."?
