Imagine all the wood chips

The Tree of Life in Bahrain is a four centuries old mesquite tree in the midst of desert. Locals believe it stands on the spot of the original "garden of Eden."

According to all I've found online about this old guy, he lives a little more than one mile away from anything but sand. As you see on the first pic, he's completely surrounded by desert This is one of the 10 strangest trees on Earth from ZuZu Top.

Also included are the sequioia, General Sherman; the parasitic-looking cotton silk trees in Cambodia; and my personal favorite, the world's largest cashew tree at 300 feet x 300 feet. Even I can't eat that many cashews.
