Over two years ago, my pick of the week was an Ellen Crosby Virginia wine country mystery. She has this week's top spot also with her latest, The Viognier Vendetta. Sleuth and winery-owner, Lucie Montgomery is still a wine-loving history buff. This time she's peppering War of 1812 history into the story of a ponzi scheme of epic proportions. It was a little angst-y and I'm kinda tired of her getting shit on by every guy she likes, but the mystery itself was good, and it was the best of a small bunch this week.
