Friday Book Blogging

This week's book is Chris Ewan's The Good Thief's Guide to Vegas. The best word to describe it is "caper." A hybrid of Cary Grant's cat burglar, Oceans Eleven con artists, and the Keystone Cops, Guide to Vegas is silly fun and still manages to put together a well-plotted mystery.
Part-time novelist, part-time thief, Charlie Howard begins his horrible weekend in Vegas picking the pocket of the wrong guy. And it goes downhill from there. The cast of characters is as stunningly ridiculous as Vegas itself. This is Ewan's third "good thief" book. I'm looking forward to the newest one: Venice.
