Here's my comment regarding the North Carolina amendment to their state constitution banning all established conjugal relationships outside of marriage (between a man and a woman):
It takes a huge amount of hatred to go out of your way to deny a fundamental right to someone else when that right has no impact at all on you. That kind of hatred should have no place in our society.
Here is my comment on our president, Barack Obama, publicly stating his support of marriage equality for same-gender couples:
Although it took you long enough to come around, thank you. And no matter what anyone says, it took some cajones to make this declaration in May instead of in December this year. Now see what you can do about DOMA.
