Emancipation

Today is Juneteenth: a holiday "honoring African American heritage by commemorating the announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. State of Texas in 1865."

Wikipedia says the word Juneteenth is a portmanteau, meaning a single word created by combining two (or more) other words. Back 100 years ago, portmanteau meant suitcase. Lewis Carroll then used it to describe his made-up words as "two meanings packed into one word like a portmanteau."
We'll hope it's not smoggy for you to wear your skort and use your spork to celebrate Juneteenth in Texarkana watching Blaxploitation flicks, but please don't snart.

Or you can just celebrate.
